HELP!

Ok so I downloaded this new backround but it didn't change the color behind my writing which was from my previous backround, please help me!

Well John came home yesterday afternoon. It seriously felt like he has been gone for a month with his florida trip and hunting trip just about back to back. With him being gone so much lately camryn has totally become a mommys girl and it is annoying. I mean i do like the fact that she wants me but it is hard to get things done when i can't leave the room. I was so blessed this time when john went hunting both girls slept through the night each night and had great naps together. I can't remember the last time that i have slept through the night, probably before janae was born!! And when i say sleep i mean from 8-8:30!!! AWESOME!! We did a lot while john was gone ,i painted the bathroom twice cause i hated the first color i chose, it was too dark and i should have never listened to teh paint guy who told me to use semi gloss!! yikes. So now i painted it the same color as my laundry room whihc i love but not sure if i am liking it a whole lot in my bathroom so we'll see if this color stays!!
It is great that john has the rest of the week off til tuesday. Tomorrow we are heading to the pool as janae has been asking for a long time. Saturday we are heading to the pumpkin patch weather permitting with my mom as one of her 50 things! And then in the evenign heading to john's families place for thanksgiving dinner. Where i will be bringing my homemade cranberry sauce and coleslaw!! i know i got off easy!!
Janae and i baked pumpkin and apple sugar cookies today. I really dont' know why i try and bake with janae. She wants to help and i do let her cuase i don't mind messed but it just takes so long. It didn't start off good when she tried to mix the butter and sugar and first spoon she flung into the air and all over the place. She could tell i was annoyed and right away says, "its ok, just accident, we clean it up!" how can you get mad. We have started a naughty mat for this child. Her listening and disrespect it terrible. I dont' know where she gets off thinking ity is ok to hit or kick me. and the screaming in my face or laughing in my face when i am talking to her sternly is out of control. WE had a very bad morning the other day and since the we have talked about her behaviro adn she knows what happens instantly if she is out of line. She was only on the mat once today and she was very upset. So hopefully this works cause it scares me to think that she is so physical towards me at such a young age.
Camryn is a little turkey, she repeated the word cracker to me today by saying,"crack" she also makes a dog barking sound when you ask her what does a puppy say. She is just full of smiles and makes you want to just eat her up!!
Ok so that is it, i surprised my self cuase i was just going ot post a pic of myself and now i have written a novel. Well at least i have give you something to read sonja while you pump in the middle of the night!

Quick question: Do you think it is ok to teach a two year old the proper terms for body parts. LIke penis and vagina?
JOhn doens't think so and i think it's great if they know the right terms. Janae knows that she has a vagina and daddy has a penis, for a while she thought he had peanuts but i think we have cleared that up. It was great the other day when she tried to climb out of camryns crib on her own and fell and in the process really bruised her vagina. She was able to tell me her vagina hurt which was great so i new where she hurt herself. She is such a smart cookie! Sometimes too smart for her own good!!hahaha

Single Mom...again!

So here i am a single mom again for another five full days! John left two weeks ago and went to orlando Florida for a work conference while i stayed at home with the sick and non sleeping munchkins. We'll see how this week goes. John left this morning for his annual hunting trip with his family. I told him before he left there was no need to shoot bambi cause i refuse to cook or eat deer meat. So we shall see.
Camryn slept through the night basically last night, she went down at 8 and woke up at 8 she only woke up at 6am for a feeding!!! I hope that continues. I saw today that the second tooth on top has finally broken through so i hope this sleeping continues for a while before the next tooth tries to come through.
Janae is growing up way to fast.. This child talks and talks and talks, i have no idea where she gets that from!!! And it's about stuff that happened so long ago, it is crazy what they remember!
Well i don't really feel like sitting here any longer there is so much to do and i should be sleeping while the kids are napping, but oh well, hopefully i am not screwing myself for tonight!!

My sister in law just celebrated her 40th birthday and so we had a girls lunch for her. I think janae ate over half the cake by herself, she couldn't even stop to smile for the picture!!

Nothing

So it has been a long time since i posted and so i feel obligated to write a post for thoes of you who do check my blog occasionally. Life is so busy these days. I find myself running around and feeling like there is never enough hours in the day! Anyone else feel that way?!
John is leaving on Saturday night to Orlando Florida for a work conference and is gone til thursday. Not really looking forward to that but i guess i should just suck it up because he leaves me again two weeks after that for his yearly retarded hunting trip with his family! Have no idea what the excitement is all about with hunting but boys gotta be boys I guess.
Janae is turning 2.5 next week which is crazy. people in the stores are always saying she looks 3 if not 4. Yes she is very tall and has amazing language skills as well as an attitude of a 10 year old. But she is only 2.5 and is such a smarty pants. She talks so grown up sometimes and imitates me a lot (not always a good thing).
Camryn is 9 months next week, boy does time fly. She will be a year in 3 months. I dont' remember time flying by so fast with Janae. Camryn is a busy girl, she started crawling at 8 months and has mastered the skill, she also has learned to pull herself on furniture and just this week has learend how to walk along furniture. My prediction is that she will be walking by 10 months, well at least i hope so. She is a big girl all around. The last time we wieghed her at about 8 months she was 22 pounds! WE weigher her the last time at the hospital when she had a week of hte stomach flu and then two weeks later she had tonsillits and strep throat! it's crazy her immune system sucks and i wonder how much of it has to do that I did not breast feed her, well i did for about a week! She has also learned in the past couple of months to say "mama", "dada" and recently "nana". She also loves sharing. She takes her soother out and puts it in mine and then takes it out and puts it in hers. Today i noticed she is able to take the wooded peg puzzels pieces out by the little peg with two fingers so her fine motor skills are definetely there. This turkey as big as she is is a pickey eater. She refuses to eat anythign from a jar so she eats a lot of cheerios, rice puffs, mum mums and then food off of our plates. She still is on formula and we are trying to get rid of the night time feed as she definentely doens't need them!! A friend of mine suggested the book, " Baby Whisperer" i think that is what is was called. Anyone have any reviews on that book? I think i might give it a try becasue i would love to be able to sleep through the night! So that is what camryn is up to these days.
I have been busy these past couple of weeks there are some things that need to get down around the house and like i said before there just doesn't seem to be enough time in our day to get them done. Ok well i know my sister will be reading this so I should correct that. we chose not to do the things around the house. My priority is my girls so if we have free time we are doing stuff with them so things like painitng and yard work (other then mowing the lawn) get put on hold. But this past couple of weeks i was able to paint our railing on the deck and john was able to clear out the whole back yard, no more tree stumps or dirt piles back there anymore. What are we doing with the back yard... I have no idea! I really need to paint our upstairs bathroom, JOhn ripped the towel rack out of the wall so i had to do some patch work and now i am thinking if i have to paint the bathroom again i might as well chose a different color! i was thinking a nice olive gree color perhaps! I also would like to finish the downstairs recroom, need to paint over the hideous green apple color i painted down there and also paint the rental suite down there. All of these things to do and they all require no chilren around. ANd seeings the girls have been sleeping liek crap lately I have been napping as well in the afternoon. So ya we'll see when that gets done.

Almost Over!

Well today seems to be the best day so far for camryn. She is no longer vomitting and seems to be getting her appetite better. She still has really bad diarreah but it is happening less often...thank goodness! She has also been sleeping alot which is kind of nice. Out of this whole thing the best part of her being sick was the amount of cuddling she did. she isn't much of a cuddler otherwise but this weekend while she was really sick she would lay on my chest and sleep and daddy wans't good enough it had to be mommy!
I am so happy that she is feeling better because i have a girls nigh tonight with my gunther girl cousins. THere is 7 of us all within 4 years of age, we've always gotten along and do the occasional get together. I believe we are good friends thanks to my grandma for making an effort when we were little to have us all over for sleep overs several times a year so that we could get together and be close. That was her dream and it has come true. most of us are married and half of us have kids but it's great to get together and get out of the house.

Worst Weekend EVER!

Back in the day the worst weekend ever would mean you didn't get enough sleep and were dreading Monday morning when you had to get up early for bed. However as a parent that is all different. The worst weekend is when one of your children is violently ill and you get no sleep cause you are busy rocking your child, washing soiled bedding and clothes and going back and forth to the doctors! That is the worst weekend because there was nothing i could do to prevent it or make it better! So here goes my weekend.



Thursday night Camryn got sick at the table and projectile barfed across the table. I thought it must have been something she ate as she was gagging just before she threw up. We cleaned her up and then john walked aroudn with her while she did it two more times. Still thinking it was the food we took her home cause we were at my sisters and fed her her bedtime bottle and put her down. Half an hour after she is asleep there is a funny noise from her room and then crying. I run in and she is covered and i mean covered in vomit and so is everything else around her! eek. so we throw her in the tub and wash her up. She continues to vomit and so i say what the heck i am taking her to emergency. Camryn had the stomach fly at 2.5 months and was hospitalized for two days. I knwo how fast they can dehydrate. So i spend my night waitng in the waiting room lookin glike a liar cause camryn is smiling, and cooing and doing patty cake for everyone! But i stayed and the doctor saw her and said it might just be a gag reflex thing and to just skip formula for the night. So we bring her home at 1am and put her in her crib, 3am she wakes up barfing again, not too much seeings there really isn't anything in her stomach and then goes back to sleep. She woke up at 8:30 and i pick her up and she is HOT! I take her temperature and it is at 102. So i guess it has nothing to do with gag reflexes doctor but the stomach flu..great. All day she just lays on me and then barfs and then sleeps and then barfs she doesn't want anything. By 8pmI take her to my family doctor who is on call at the walk in clinic because she has not peed since the ngiht before. He seems concerend and tells me about gravol suppositories and tylenol suppositories...who knew.

Saturday morning John is woken up by a horrible smell he goes in to camryn;s room and discovers her sleeping in diarreah. It was soo bad. Poor little girl. She was a bit more like her self during the day but woudl want to eat but then have diarreah and then crash.

Today we skipped church as she still has diarreah she is sleeping ALOT, probably to catch up.. She is eating her bottles(which i just read you should not feed them formula when they have diarreah!oops) not sure what to do cause she will NOT drink that pedalyte stuff. She still has diarreah and a lot of cramping but no fever (or Beaver as janae would say). She just went down and is now sleeping so we'll see how the rest of the night goes and tomorrow. I feel so bad for janae cause she basically has been on her own. i am used to spending alot of my day with her and now all of my attention was on camryn because she just wanted to be held and sleep on me.
John took Janae saturday morning to the 4x4 show at the tradex where she had a blast and today john took her to the pool. It's great having a husband, you really appreciate them at times like this where you really need another person. Now my only fear is that Janae is going to get it. Oh i hope and pray she doens't. I really don't want to deal with another sick child.

It was so hot this weekend and with camryn having a fever and wanting to be on me all the time i sent john out to buy an aircondioner for the window. So we have been able to stay sane!

OH boy! Where to begin. Well I will start with our week vacation in Tulemeen. We left Saturday morning with the rest of my family which is 9 adults and 5 kids (4 under the age of 2)!! We were all able to make it to princeton without stopping for crying children and had lunch at A&W. Tulemeen is a 30 minute drive through the mountains on a very windy road from Princeton. WE arrived at the house my parents rented and got settled in. The house was gorgeous. The week was very relaxing. My family enjoys sitting around doing absolutely nothing, but i like to be out and about so we went to the local playground and beach daily. It was a great trip the kids slept great. We had little to no expectations so it was awesome to have great sleepers and everything work out smoothly! So that was our great adventure, makes me more confident in going to seattle for a couple of nights and hitting up the aquarium and zoo! If anyone has advice about which hotel to stay at that is close to one of the attractions let me know!

Camryn is moving around, doing a lot of bum scooting, she does try and crawl but is moving backwards! last night I raised her side bar in her crib thinking that one day she is just going to roll out of her bed, even though she never rolls over even though she knows how. And we discovered her asleep with her arm holding the bar. i will post a picture of this! She is such an awesome baby. We had Kris and Annette over last night and i forgot she was there!

This past Saturday my mom and my youngest brother BJ jumped out of a plane at 14,000ft! Yep my mom went skydiving. She has always wanted to do this but my dad wouldn't let her because he didn't want anything to happen to her and leave him with us kids to raise! So my mom turned 50 this past May and us kids gave her a gift, it's a piece of paper numbered from 1-50 and through out the year this paper will be filled with events or gifts that she receives or does with one of us. So BJ took her sky diving as one of the 50 things. She has received so far flowers each month from one of us kids and stepping stones from her grandchildren. Jackie and Steven took her to the sandcastles in whiterock and I took her to the quilt show and we are going to see mama mia. And my dad is taking her on an alaskan cruise Sept 6! So it is a fun filled year for her. the plan is that for her 51st birthday we will present her with a scarpbook of some sort of all the events and gifts she has received as we have been taking pictures of everything and keeping ticket stubs and stuff like that. So ya.

Janae is getting smarter every day! The words that come out of her mouth sometimes are crazy , The other day she asked to sit in my chair and I told her that i was sitting in it but she could sit in daddy;s chair. so she walked over to his chair and said," I sit in daddy's chair for a reason!!" what? anyways she makes us laugh!

Well that is all I feel like writing, i really should write more often so that i remember everything that is happening in the Jefremow household!!
