took this two nights ago, they both love bath time.

Janae playing at the zoo on the playground

camryn enjoying the sun we had that ONE day!

I have been finding it really hard to blog lately. Just never have time to sit and write and then i wonder, who cares what i have to say and decide i would rather do something else. but it's 9:30 and like every night i lay janae down in her bed and then sit outside her door til she is asleep. for some reason i only have to do this at night time and not during the day which is nice. but hey it beats laying in her bed and trying to sneak out or tyring to stay awake.. since she has been able to fall asleep without me in her bed she has been sleepng through the night...well until this weekend that is. John went away on a church mens fishing derby fort he weekend and the two night he was gone both girls were up for most of the night on and off, it was horrible! And then last night camryn woke up at 3 and dint go back down til 6 and then janae was up at 7. it was rediculous, so it has been a really crappy day and the rain sure didn't help the mood around here.

Onto updates about the girls. Janae has learned her abc's. and no i did not teach her, she learned it from listenign to camryns' exersaucer sing it! I wish i could take the credit but i can't! Oh well it doesnt' really matter who teaches it to them right? Janae loves books and recently we got a book from the library and we read it twice to her and now she reads it back to us, its simple but she does it, and it is so fun to watch her. Janae has also been speaking so much more. i mean she has always been talking way above her age level but recently she has been sayign things we say.. which isn't always good. Like her new words that she heres us say i guess are <"what the heck!' and "that sucks!' it is hard not to smile or chuckle when she says thes e things because of how she says them but you know int he end its not something we want to encourage!. Janae is a determined little child and needs her space. We have been workign on her outburst of attacks. Whne i say that i mean she will do the typical push or hit when a child takes a toy from her or if she wants a turn with the toy someone has but she is aggressive soemtimes jsut because and what erks me even more is the smile she has on her face when she hits another child and when she is being disciplined. I am nto sure how to correct thsi behavior, it is just so mean. Anyways i do have support from supported child care so maybe i can find a technique that will work. It just makes it hard to go out with other kids janae's age becasue she just walks up to a child and hits or pushed them for no reason sometimes and so parks scare me when she is up on the play structure and i cna't reach her. It also is hard when i have carmyn with me cause i dont' always have a free hand. So every tuesday we have been able to go to a playgroup and leave camryn with my mom so that has been awesome. i hope that she will grow otu of this stage of "bullying".

Camryn is growin g so fast, she is almost 5..5 months now. She is 19pounds 7 oz! she likes to eat just like her mommy, all day and all night. well only one bottle at night some nights! She is able to roll over from her stomach to back but hasn't even tried from back to stomach and right now she is able to sit all by herself. She started doing it about two weeks ago and she learned it really quickly, Janae only sat alone after 6 months. Camryn has discovered her voice and loves to hear it. It can get really loud and be more like yelling but these past two days it has turend to babbling. She says," giggle giggle giggle" it is so cute. I am thinking her bottom teeth are trying to cut through as she has been extremly miserable! and camryn si a pretty content child who smiles seriously ALL the time. I cuoldnt have asked for a more content child. she is the comoplet opposite of Janae.
Janae loves camryn and playing wth camryn she is such a great big sister adn is soooo gentle with camryn, it is amazign how janae takes on teh mommy roll when i am busy doing something, i often am busy doing something and when camryn starts whinnign or crying janae says," just a minute camryn I am coming" and goes and grabs her soother to put it in her mouth. Janae often is able to tell us what camryn wants which si helpful! Janae holds camryn often and hugs and kisses her saying ,"mommy look at her, she's cute!"
A couple of months ago it was snowing out and janae went to the window and said, "mommy look its' snowing, AMAZING!" what random word and who knew that she knew that word! So here and there that word comes out and makes us laugh.

Today jsut before bed janae called john and i to the floor for circle time. she mimicks her teacher at playgroup and does all the songs and says all the things that her teacher does, it was so neat.

Anyways it has been busy around here, my mom came may long weekend to help me plant flowers and becasu eof the lack fo sun we have they arn't looking so great! Time for some sun already.

We bought a year pass to the zoo which si such a great deal, i recommned everyoen with children to do the pass. It is 60bucks a person and includes parkign and a train ride each visist, admission to the seattle zoo and the one in kelowna, 20%off at the aquarium and science world. They have a brand new playground that is great for 2 years and older. so even just going there for a walk and park time is worth it!

Well it think that is enough writing for one evening. Hope you are all haveing a great June. I look forward to July for our family vacation!

Wow, Janae sounds like a really intelligent little girl! Reading books with her is a great idea....they learn so much and it's a great bonding time for you too. Enjoy these busy times! You'll look back later and remember them fondly (hard to believe right now, I know!)

Thanks for the pics and the updates on your girls! Thats very cute about Janae taking on the mother role and the teacher role. Sounds like she is a born leader! :)
I completly agree about the zoo pass - such a great deal! I bought one a few months ago. I've only gone twice, due to the weather, but its already paid off!
